Simon Atkins, PhD, DSc is an atmospheric scientist, a doctor of planetary risk, and climate economist. As CEO and co-founder of Advanced Forecasting Corporation [AFC], he provides ground-breaking insights, predictions and strategies to over twenty industries, Fortune 500 businesses, and investment groups affected by natural-based perils. With 25 years of experience in his trademarked “business interruption weather intelligence” and solar science, Simon advises on vulnerability assessment hotspots for optimized portfolio management. He holds a BSc in atmospheric physics from Cornell University, an International MBA from the Helsinki School of Economics, a PhD from Clayton College of Natural Health (CCNH) in biometeoelectromagnetics (a study of how planetary magnetics causes shifts in climate and our health), and a Doctor of Science in Alternative Medicine from the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines (IBAM).

Constantin Drocan is an Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Advanced Forecasting Corporation. Dan has an International MBA degree from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration. He has accumulated 25 years of corporate experience in financial management, marketing and information technology, and he has more than 14 years of experience in the environmental services industry. He has been a regional cost controller in worldwide operations for the InterContinental Hotel brand in both Finland and Japan, a professor of marketing, and a chief system designer for IT consulting companies such as Tietonovo and Sentera. He has advanced skill sets in strategic analysis & planning, international communications, business logistics, organizational behavior and management of change.
Director, Risk Analysis & Weather Communications
Evan Eldridge has been a cornerstone of AFC since 1994. Evan is currently the Director of Risk Analysis and Weather Communications, where he is involved in developing and implementing new products, and research. An atmospheric scientist by education and profession, Evan’s broad-based experience makes him ideally suited for AFC and its clients. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences at Cornell University, he earned his Master of Science in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. His Master’s Thesis – “The Effects of Wind Dynamics on Lake Effect Snows” – makes him, amongst many other roles, AFC’s expert on Lake Effect snow. Evan has been an on-air TV weather anchor for WICB-TV (Ithaca, NY), WTOL-TV (Toledo, Ohio), and WSEE-TV (Erie, PA) as well as a radio broadcaster for several stations. He also has appeared as a hurricane expert for MSNBC during recent hurricane seasons in south Florida. Evan has taught and conducted research at both the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and the University of Miami. Besides having his head in the clouds, he is a principal musician of the Miami Alhambra Orchestra. Although currently residing in Miami, Florida, he has also lived in Charleston SC, Erie PA, and Ann Arbor MI.

Armand Gallucci is the Corporate VP, Strategy and Business Development at Advanced Forecasting Corporation (AFC). Mr. Gallucci provides AFC clients with new insights into how weather and planetary risk management affects an individual company’s portfolio. He is also a Benefit Broker and Administrator at Abacus Management Resources. Mr. Gallucci has extensive experience in CRM, marketing, customer needs group research, business development / analysis, planning and finance in and for Fortune 1000 companies including Verizon, Citibank, J.P. Morgan Chase, Moody’s, American Skandia, IPI, BrandDirect Marketing, IBM, Dun & Bradstreet, US Bank, Greenwich Associates, and the Peppers and Rogers Group. He has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from New York’s Ivy-League Columbia University Business School.
Financial Risk Specialist
Russell Harvey is a Financial Risk Specialist at Advanced Forecasting Corporation, where he has worked since January 2001. Mr. Harvey has 15 years of risk modeling expertise, particularly with respect to the impact of global climate change on investments. Previously, Mr. Harvey was a Performance Account Specialist at Russell/Mellon Analytical Services, a consulting firm.
Chief Operating Officer
Tom Michelena is the Chief Operating Officer at Advanced Forecasting Corporation. Mr. Michelena is in charge of banking clients of how global climate change and planetary shifts impact investments and portfolio management. He has superior financial and information technology skills with his focus in Management having a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming. He has experience in commercial lending and credit analysis with several banks around the western United States region, including consulting to FiServ, a US data processors, to proficiencies in management at i_Tech Corporation and different software platforms.
Dr. Gary Wojcik
Senior Consulting Research Meteorologist
Gary Wojcik is a Senior Consulting Research Meteorologist at Advanced Forecasting Corporation. He is also a Meteorologist at Northrop Grumman Corporation, and the Program Manager of the Software Integration and Visualization Office, Earth Sciences Division at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Mr. Wojcik has over 16 years of experience in applied atmospheric science research, forecasting, consulting, business development, and teaching.
Director of Web Development & IT Communications
Danny comes to Advanced Forecasting Corporation with numerous years of web development experience and a Bachelors of Science in Finance from the University of Wyoming. He yearns with the same entrepenurial spirit that started AFC in1993 by starting his own independent website solutions company. Danny and AFC have now teamed up by forming a strategic partnership. We are proud to have Danny as a part of the AFC Team and look forward to his expertise in Web Development and IT Communications.

Julie Kramer is Director of Crisis Management & Strategic Planning at Advanced Forecasting Corporation. She is an expert in critical analysis in disaster response events, and has deep knowledge in hazard mitigation and continuity strategies for most planetary threat types. Her background for the last decade has been working in projects with both private and government engineers, architects, security specialists, Ex-NAVY Seals and Special Ops, program/project managers, and scientists.
